We are currently seeking a dedicated Digital Media Specialist to join our team and lead our digital marketing efforts to greater heights.
Job Overview:
As a Digital Media Specialist at The Lamu Collection, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing our digital presence, including maintaining and expanding our Shopify stores, leveraging the power of social media, and implementing innovative strategies to drive online and offline sales. You will also play a crucial role in managing our mailing list for effective customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Shopify Store Management:
- Ensure the smooth operation of our Shopify stores, including maintaining product listings, updating images, and optimising descriptions for an enhanced customer experience.
- Implement SEO strategies to improve product visibility and search rankings.
- Monitor inventory levels and pricing for optimal online sales performance.
- Optimise the online shopping experience to improve conversion rates and drive sales.
Social Media Engagement:
- Develop and execute creative social media strategies across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Etsy to enhance brand visibility and engagement and align with company objectives.
- Create compelling content, including posts, stories, and videos, to interact with our fashion-forward audience and drive online sales.
- Monitor and analyse social media metrics to track campaign performance and overall presence.
- Prepare regular reports to communicate insights and propose improvements.
- Create and manage paid social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences.
- Stay informed about social media advertising trends and best practices.
Sales Innovation:
- Innovate and implement strategies that bridge the online and offline sales channels, creating cohesive marketing and sales campaigns.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute promotions, sales events, and campaigns to boost overall sales performance.
- Collaborate with head office and other stakeholders to align social media activities with broader marketing initiatives.
- Work with influencers and partners to expand reach and enhance brand visibility.
Mailing List Management:
- Manage and segment our mailing list for targeted email marketing campaigns.
- Create and send engaging email content that encourages customer engagement and conversions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in e-commerce and Shopify store management.
- Strong social media expertise, including content creation and engagement analytics.
- Experience shooting photography and videography
- Proven experience in coming up with engaging marketing copy
- Creative thinking with a talent for generating innovative marketing ideas.
- Experience in email marketing and mailing list management.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical capabilities to measure and report on campaign effectiveness.
