We are currently seeking a dedicated Energising Experiential Host to join our team and lead our customer experience efforts to greater heights.

Job Overview:

Our team is seeking an Energising Experiential Host to infuse our retail/restaurant space with vitality, enthusiasm, and warmth. As a key ambassador of our brand, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, sparking engaging conversations, and ensuring that every interaction leaves a lasting impression. Your boundless energy, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit will contribute to a dynamic and inviting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with warmth, grace, and enthusiasm as they arrive, setting the tone for a memorable retail/dining experience. Make each guest feel valued and special from the moment they step through the door.
  • Sparkling Conversations: Initiate and sustain lively conversations with guests, igniting their curiosity and enhancing their experience. Share stories, recommendations, and insights that leave a lasting impression and foster genuine connections.
  • Pulsating Floor Management: Maintain a dynamic presence on the floor, orchestrating the flow of guests and ensuring that everyone feels attended to and valued. Collaborate with team members to optimise efficiency and deliver seamless service.
  • Electrifying Customer Experience: Infuse every interaction with energy and excitement, exceeding guest expectations at every turn. Anticipate needs, offer personalised recommendations, and inject moments of surprise and delight into the guest's journey. Handle special requests and accommodate individual preferences with professionalism and grace.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Lead by example, inspiring and motivating team members to deliver their best performance. Foster a culture of teamwork, communication, and excellence, where every member of the team is empowered to contribute to the success of the Lamu brand.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of key holder responsibility in a supervisory role in a service-oriented environment.
  • Computer literate – MS Office, Google Workspace.
  • High-energy individual with a zest for life and a natural ability to uplift others.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.  Customer service, retail, or hospitality roles preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach and a willingness to pitch in and support others.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a knack for creating visually appealing displays.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and creating moments of magic.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
